The region is way down, when you look at it like this, none of those teams aside from the top two have really any chance of making a big splash outside of the region.
PV could give the region fits if they make the playoffs, their record is deceiving, but it just seems that GC and CWood are miles ahead of everyone right now.
What about the win over Appy? Appy really isn't that bad, they have to be better than an Pound or TW?

Appy might not be, it could just be where they were so bad last year, they have come along way. I really didn't have high hopes for JIB losing what they did, the passing game gives me some hope though. Not saying it's great, but it's there this year, instead of handing it to Miles most plays like I thought would be the game plan this season. I'm just not sold on Kelly yet.

I need to see Wise vs better competition to make a final judgment on them but to this point they could not look better
Clintwood is looking good to this point but I think the Lebanon game will tell us alot more about them
PV is better than there record but if they drop many more they will have to win the LPD to get a playoff spot
Burton is about where I thought they would be with Miles they are a very good team with a legit shot at the LPD and Reagion championship and without him they would be 1-2 right now...... That being said the passing game SHOULD make them tougher to defend (till it rains :) )
here is my top 10
1) GC (Not sure how you could put anyone else there the butt whipping by the Sullivan team was something that no SWVA team could have avoided)
2) Richlands (Not 100% sold on them but there only loss was by a FG to my #1 team so...)
3) Lebanon (They got ripped by Tazwell BUT the word is Lebanon had several starters out for displanary reasons in that game and Taz was still unable to score any offencave TDs the game this week vs GC should be a war)
4) Clintwood (They are better than most including myself expected them to be)
5) Burton (They have Miles and IMHO if you put him on Ervintons team they become a top 10 team
6) Kelly (They are probably better than #6 but for now IMHO this is a good spot for them
7) Tazwell (I could be under estamateing them putting them at 7 but after the way GC crushed them I cant do it)
8) PV (If PV had player Clintwood's, Burton's or Kelly's schedule they would be 3-0 right now and not 1-2)
9) Carroll County (If a non tazwell co team is going to win the SWD I think it is CC)
10) Va High (Much improved team but not in Lebanon or GCs class just yet)
